有一次王子邀请了灰姑娘和后妈一起去参加舞会，但是后母不让灰姑娘去。这时仙女出现了，她还让灰姑娘穿上水晶鞋去参加舞会，还把灰姑娘打扮的漂漂亮亮的。王子只跟灰姑娘跳舞，两个姐姐和后母气的脸都红了。
很快就到12点时，灰姑娘要走了，她在走前掉了一只水晶鞋。最后王子靠着这只水晶鞋找到了灰姑娘。两人幸福得在一起。
